Prologue The Family Lens

Two generations. One way of seeing.

Smart Pix Studio began with my father, [FATHER'S NAME], and a single camera in a small studio in Chhetrapati. He photographed the neighbourhood's weddings, its newborns, its graduations — the moments families keep in albums for generations.

I grew up between the darkroom and the studio lights, carrying his bags to weddings before I was tall enough to see over the crowd. Today I carry that same camera bag — now filled with cinema lenses, drones and long telephotos — filming and photographing weddings, events and studio sessions across Nepal.

When the wedding season quiets down, you'll find me on a trail somewhere above the clouds, waiting for a bird to land. Patience in the forest has made me a better wedding photographer; the real moments never ask permission.

Chapter One Weddings & Events

Chapter Three Into the Wild

Off the clock, on the trail.
